As we count down to the 2026 Pregnancy Expo & Family Festival on Sunday, May 3rd, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible sponsors who make this event — and so much of our work — possible.
Today we're spotlighting Carolina Birth and Wellness.
Carolina Birth and Wellness is a holistic resource center offering physical, emotional, and educational support for all possible reproductive healthcare experiences. Whether you're on a fertility journey, preparing for birth, navigating the postpartum period, or simply investing in your wellness, they have you covered.
Their services include:
- Fertility Support — Fertility doula support, fertility massage, fertility nutrition, and concierge services for those on the path to parenthood
- Birth Support — Birth doula support, full spectrum doula support, pregnancy concierge services, prenatal nutrition, maternity photography, and more
- Postpartum Support — Postpartum doula support, insurance-covered lactation support, placenta encapsulation, sleep support, hospital-grade breast pump rentals, belly binding, newborn photography, and postpartum nutrition
- Wellness — Prenatal and postpartum massage therapy, prenatal yoga, pelvic floor therapy, mental health therapy, functional exercise, in-home meal preparation, pelvic steaming, and rites and rituals
- Classes — Childbirth classes, birth options in the Triangle, baby care classes, and family prep classes
What makes Carolina Birth and Wellness truly special is their commitment to inclusivity. They support all families regardless of identity, background, and goals — and they believe that whole-person, individualized care is the best care. Complimentary consultations are always available.
Although Carolina Birth and Wellness won't be able to join us in person this year, their support of our community runs deep. Breastfeed Durham would not be able to do what we do without their funding and partnership. They consistently show up to normalize breastfeeding in Durham — from hosting community based peer support groups and serving as a WakeMed Mothers' Milk donation site, to generously donating to Breastfeed Durham year after year. We are so grateful for everything they do.
And we hope to see YOU at the festival on Sunday, May 3rd from 3–6 PM at Hillside Park!
