DESCRIPTION: This is a pilot initiative, subject to continuation based on a vote of the Durham’s Community Action Team.\nEveryone committed to reducing health disparities is welcome. These sessions are designed as a flexible time-slot for the Breastfeed Durham Implementation Team, ICO4MCH Leaders, and the Born in Durham, healthy for life subcommittee to catch up, discuss plans, and address any challenges. Our focus will be a discussion of how we can coordinate efforts to improve breastfeeding outcomes and reduce infant mortality in the high mortality ZIP Codes within Durham county. Community members are welcome to pop in any time during the first half hour to catch up.\nThe second part of the session is open questions about breastfeeding resources, initiatives, or how you can get involved, feel free to join us during the community office hours.
