Join us for a one-of-a-kind Cajun\nBrunch at Succotash in Durham on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with live music from\n1:00–3:00 PM. This event blends Louisiana flavor, live music, and local love in support\nof Breastfeed Durham. Breastfeed Durham envisions a world where every family has the\nfreedom to define their own infant feeding journey—and receives the support needed to reach\ntheir goals. We honor all methods of providing human milk: breastfeeding, chestfeeding, bottle-\nfeeding, donor milk, and feeding through medical devices. While our work centers human milk\nfeeding, we also provide culturally respectful support for families who use formula,\nunderstanding that informed choice and systemic barriers must be acknowledged together.\nMusic & Meaning: Members of the local band, OYAYAs, will bring authentic Cajun music to the event! 100% of\nyour donation will go directly to support Breastfeed Durham’s ongoing work supporting families,\nlactation spaces, and community care.\nHow It Works: Succotash will open their event space for this special afternoon, featuring order-off-the-menu\ndining and drinks. You can reserve a seat at the community tables in the back dining room to\nenjoy the live band and festivities. Be sure to specify that you’d like to sit in the Back Dining\nRoom: Succotash Reservations. Consider coming as early as 12:30pm or as late as 2:30pm!\nTheir online system is set up to take reservations at 15-minute intervals up to 2:30pm. The\nmusicians will play from 1pm to 3pm with a short set break at 1:45pm.\nGiving: At the center of each community table, you’ll find a QR code linking to our donation page. We\ngreatly appreciate your donations in support of our mission. All proceeds go toward programs\nthat make our community more welcoming and family friendly.\nSave the date, invite your friends, and join us for great food, great company, and a great\ncause!
