Community Perinatal Wellness Center located at 1208 Fayetteville Street Durham, NC 27707. \nMobilizing African American Mothers through Empowerment (MAAME, Inc.) empowers Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other Birthing People of color and those historically excluded to navigate systems during pregnancy and postpartum, mobilize to offer resources, education, services, and support for holistic maternal health, wellness, sustainable communities, and economic advancement.\nMAAME, Inc. has added to their services and partnered with Simply the Basics to serve as a hygiene distributor. As a part of this initiative, they will provide hygiene products and menstrual products to community members. They also now serve as an official Perinatal Safe Spot. Through the National Perinatal Taskforce, MAAME, Inc. will provide physical, emotional, and informational support so childbearing families can have true options. \nRSVP for the ribbon cutting here. \n
