SUMMARY:Moms Supporting Moms: Virtual Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Support Group
DESCRIPTION:SAFEchild’s Moms Supporting Moms Program offers a free, virtual PMADS Support Group every Thursday except the first Thursday of the month. Participants must register via SAFEchild’s website ( https://safechildnc.my.site.com/s/program-registration?language=en_US ) to attend the virtual meetings. Birthing people from all counties are welcome to attend.\n\nThe support group meets online for pregnant and postpartum birthing people who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed. No diagnosis is needed, all symptoms are welcome. Trained facilitators lead the meeting. Note: Support is not a replacement for therapy. It is a valid, supplemental resource for recovery. \n\n
