The Durham Digest
Breastfeed Durham
February 2025

The start of the year has been full of uncertainty, but also resilience, as so many of us continue working to support families despite the challenges. As we step into February, we’re looking ahead with renewed focus—continuing to build connections, advocate for policies that support breastfeeding families, and create spaces where every parent feels welcome. Here’s what’s happening this month and how you can be involved.

This month we look forward to celebrating with Human Milk Feeding Strategic Plan with Durham Department of Public Health. This plan outlines our shared vision for supporting breastfeeding and human milk feeding in our community, with the goal of making Durham a place where every family feels supported in their feeding journey. We need your feedback.
