Need Lactation Support? Connect with our new Lactation Collaborative!

Breastfeed Durham has launched a Lactation Collaborative that is committed to advancing equitable access with free or low-cost, high-quality lactation support for Durham families who are uninsured, underinsured, or face systemic barriers to care. We partner with experienced volunteer perinatal health professionals to deliver compassionate, culturally respectful support that honors every family’s feeding goals.

Help us spread the word and ensure families get the support they need to meet their goals in feeding their infants!

Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities' pilot project, Breastfeed Durham, will host the 2025 First Food Equity Series in partnership with the Piedmont Area Health Education Centers. These free presentations are made possible through funding from the Durham County Department of Public Health.
