VIRTUAL READY, SET, BABY PRENATAL EDUCATION CLASS

Classes are approximately 75-90 minutes in length

For 2026, no classes held on January 19, May 25 & 26, September 7, November 23 & 24, and December 28 & 29 in observance of holidays.

This free service offers education for pregnancy, birth and postpartum care using an evidence-based and pilot-tested curriculum called Ready, Set, Baby. Classes are facilitated by lactation training students and staff at the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute and are precepted by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

There are currently no plans to discontinue this offering, though the schedule is subject to change.

Ready, Set, Baby ha sido actualizado recientemente para proveer orientación y recomendaciones sobre COVID-19. El equipo y los estudiantes en entrenamiento de lactancia de Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute facilitan las clases con la orientación de Consultoras de Lactancia Certificadas por Junta Internacional (IBCLC, por sus siglas en inglés).
