Do you ever wonder if all this advocacy work is making a difference? I know many of us have had challenging days, but I really want to applaud both our dedicated community advocates and the Lincoln Community Health Center (LCHC), and the Durham WIC office for hearing our concerns and responding to them.
We are thrilled to announce that Lincoln Community Health Center has hired a new Durham WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator. Madelyne Falcone has been with LCHC for over four years, and on April 5, 2024, both Madelyne and Murriel completed their training to become WIC Designated Breastfeeding Experts. On May 6, 2024, Madelyne accepted the role of WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator. She will primarily be located at the Live Well location as Durham WIC work to finalize her schedule and community needs.
