We partner with experienced volunteer perinatal health professionals to deliver compassionate, culturally respectful support that honors every family’s feeding goals.

What We Do
- Provide in-home or clinic-based lactation care to families in the Triangle
- Prioritize access for families impacted by financial insecurity, housing instability, or medical racism
- Build a sustainable volunteer network of IBCLCs and CLCs
- Foster community partnerships and create strong referral pathways
Are You Eligible? You may qualify if you:
- Live in the Triangle (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill)
- Are uninsured, underinsured, or face financial/housing barriers
- Need infant feeding support but cannot access traditional services
Self-identification is welcome—no formal documentation required.
How It Works

- Complete a short intake form
- Get matched with a volunteer lactation consultant
- Receive compassionate care at home or in a clinic setting
- Follow-up support is available based on need
