Welcome Baby provides parent support programs, including: Parenting Workshops such as the Incredible Years, Positive Discipline and special topic workshops. Classes are available in English and Spanish. Car Seat Safety Program information sessions about car seat safety and discounted car seats; Familias Leen-a family literacy program for Latino families. Parents with Newborns may take advantage of peer phone support, hospital visits, informal discussion groups (all available in English and Spanish). Giving Closet: Weekly free clothing program for Durham county families in need with children ages 0-5.

Families can visit the Welcome Baby Giving Closet to receive clothing and accessories six times per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).Maternity clothes, breastfeeding supplies and accessories are also available.
