We invite everyone who is passionate about improving maternal and child health to join us in making a positive impact! Our Community Action Team (CAT) includes family leaders, community members, local organizations, and partners, all working together to improve the health and well-being of Durham County.

Come be a part of the change!

We meet every other month, on the 2nd Wednesday. Our next meeting will be on June 11th —details are below. We’d love to see you there!

This is our way of saying THANK YOU for your dedication and collaboration all year long. We hope you can join us to celebrate, recharge, and continue building momentum for the important work ahead.

Join Our Free “Mothers and Babies” Program This Summer!

We’re excited to share that our Mothers and Babies program is still being offered this summer — completely free and in person!

This supportive program is designed for pregnant women, new moms, and families. Over 6 to 9 weeks, participants learn practical tools to manage stress, build healthy habits, and reduce symptoms of postpartum depression. Sessions focus on positive thinking, self-care, and strengthening social connections.

You can join us one-on-one or in a small group setting — and good news: 1-on-1 sessions are available now!

We’ll be announcing the next group start dates soon, so stay tuned!
