Our community partners in Chatham County are hosting the 1st Annual EMBRACE Retreat. The theme this year is Our Stories, Our Power: Building a Birth Equity Village. Led by Kim Pevia– Hope Dealer, Social and Emotional Justice Warrior, Love Alchemist- we will explore the power of our shared stories within a heart open and inclusive space. The goal for the retreat is to foster a creative, collaborative, and compassionate space that unleashes our imaginations and inspires action in pursuit of equity for Black and Hispanic/Latinx moms and babies in our community. All mammas, birthing people, and partners and supporters of mammas are welcome.
