The next meeting of the Black Breastfeeding Coalition will be February 9, 2023 from 7 to 8 PM. Black breastfeeding advocates and allies are welcome to join us as we update and improve Breastfeed Durham’s list of Black Maternal Health Organizations and develop one new printed resource.

The goal of the Black Breastfeeding Coalition is to continue to advocate for families in our community and support organizations that are working with historically marginalized communities, especially Black Breastfeeding families, to aid in minimizing barriers. Breastfeed Durham is passionate about illuminating racial disparities associated with Black Maternal Health and advocating for the needs of Black breastfeeding families.
