LET’S START THE CONVERSATION
Breastfeed Durham will be one of the presenters at an upcoming Wake Area Health Education Center (A-HEC) LIVE WEBINAR on TUESDAY OCT 13, 2020 from 5:20 pm – 8:20 pm. The intended audience is Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, or others interested in reproductive health issues. The focus of the conference will be Reproductive Life Planning (RLP) and shared decision-making for contraceptives. Breastfeed Durham will be there to talk about the intersection of breastfeeding support and provider education. Exclusive breastfeeding, particularly during the newborn period, has a number of benefits and should be discussed with pregnant and recently postpartum patients.
