LET’S START THE CONVERSATION
Breastfeed Durham will be one of the presenters at an upcoming Wake Area Health Education Center (A-HEC) LIVE WEBINAR on TUESDAY OCT 13, 2020 from 5:20 pm – 8:20 pm. The intended audience is Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, or others interested in reproductive health issues. The focus of the conference will be Reproductive Life Planning (RLP) and shared decision-making for contraceptives. Breastfeed Durham will be there to talk about the intersection of breastfeeding support and provider education. Exclusive breastfeeding, particularly during the newborn period, has a number of benefits and should be discussed with pregnant and recently postpartum patients. This educational course is designed to equip providers with the knowledge and skills to counsel patients from preconception to postpartum.
